Lets Make America Great Again: Trump

President-elect Donald Trump addressed thousands of supporters at a "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" in Washington on Sunday, promising swift action to fulfill key campaign promises. Braving freezing temperatures, rain, and snow, supporters packed the Capital One Arena to hear Trump’s vision for his return to the White House.

Trump vowed to impose strict immigration limits on his first day in office, declaring, “By the time the sun sets tomorrow, the invasion of our country will have come to a halt.” He also pledged to tackle America’s crises with “historic speed and strength,” promising a new era of prosperity.

Reiterating themes from his 2016 campaign, the rally marked Trump’s first major address in Washington since January 6, 2021. “Tomorrow at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline, and we begin a brand-new day of American strength and prosperity,” he told the cheering crowd.

Trump pledged to repeal Biden-era executive orders, end the war in Ukraine, stabilize the Middle East, and prevent World War III. He also promised a large-scale deportation effort, the release of classified files on the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., and executive orders banning critical race theory and transgender athletes in women’s sports.

Tech mogul Elon Musk joined Trump on stage, vowing to help drive significant reforms. “This victory is just the start,” Musk said. “Our goal is to lay the foundation for America to remain strong for centuries.” Musk, accompanied by his son X Æ A-Xii, received praise from Trump, who complimented the boy as “smart” and invoked the “racehorse theory” of superior offspring.

The rally showcased Trump’s familiar mix of promises, bold rhetoric, and crowd-pleasing spectacle as he prepares to retake office.
